30A, also known as Scenic Highway 30A, is a stretch of highway along the Florida Panhandle in Walton County. It's known for its beautiful sugar-white sand beaches, charming beach towns, and relaxed atmosphere.

What airports service 30A?

The closest major airport is Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) in Panama City Beach, about a 30-minute drive from 30A. Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is another option, approximately a 45-minute drive.

Do I need to rent a car?

While some towns in 30A are walkable, having a car gives you the most flexibility to explore different beaches, restaurants, and shops.  If you plan to stay in a central location and utilize a complimentary beach shuttle or bikes offered by some rentals, you might manage without a car, but it's a good idea to check with your accommodations beforehand.
